This was my impression of what an old type Ashuelot Station would look like according to what I had seen in Pompton Lakes N.J. growing up in the late 1940's & 50's before I had ever seen the actual station | This is what I saw and realized what a toll time had taken with zero maintinence and realized my views were quite different than the real location. I had the station on a curve and it was actually on a straight section |

The old Keene Gatehouse was located near the long gone M&K and its 30 foot fill and this view is just before the crossing of the 1800 lay of the Ashuelot near the semaphore in the prototype photos on this site | Behind this view of the Keene Gatehouse one can see the 30 foot fill with the semaphore off camera to your left. The trackage is from the yard throat entering the Keene yard from the east side. The crossing is long gone but the semaphore still stands |
