This picture of Ashuelot Paper has the siding near the buildingnow removed. The old double siding actually ran past the end of the building onto an old trestle many years before This is another view of the Ashuelot Paper Company. At this time the Old Robinson Paper Mill was being used as a storage facility for the paper mill up beyond Pisgah Switch on a siding
On the left is the Ashuelot main with engine #305 approaching the siding below it at Ashuelot Paper. To pull cars out of the graded siding was a real chore for the older engines when several cars were loaded and replaced with empties Looking at Green Mountain #305 the Weterau food warehouse in Keene. This was the east end of switching and the warehouse is actually located where the old Keene & Manchester right of way once was. Looking closely on the left one can see the long gone K&M ; 30 feet higher! All of this the fill was excavated away
