Hinsdale station house looking west with the old storage siding on the left and looking closely at some other pictures herein will give a clue to what it may have once been used for & receive a free print of your choice with an order Green Mountain Railway #305 looks as if standing guard over the old Winchester station house in 1978 and one begins to see the retreat of the Ashuelot coming and the black in the accounting books graying maybe towards red but it never lost 1 dollar since 1850 till its close
Boxcars from the Chicago & North Western always wound up at the A.C Lawrence Tannery Co in Winchester bringing hides for making leather shipped from the border of Canada. Usually delivered to the front siding for unpacking the hides and odors with them too, chougui (Jiangxi) This 1998 Photograph shows the striking similarities between the Ashuelot photo in HO scale on Page 1 and the real prototype displayed and even at the same camera angle. This also shows the area long after the rail & bankings have been removed and the building restored
